Here's some Short Shots:

I went to the eye doctor the other day...$170.oo just to tell me that I am blind...you know
you're blind when The doctor sits down and asks if you're allergic to dogs...I'd rather have
a seeing eye cat.  That would be great...wouldn't have to worry about bathing the
cat...wouldn't have to worry about stepping in the cat's poop...although I wouldn't be able
to go anywhere after it rained...and I would have to wait at homes for days at a time while
the cat took off for no apparent reason...I'd get my exercise when dogs would be chasing
my cat...that would be funny...a bunch of blind people being dragged through the park.
I'd pay to see that, oh wait, I already did.

For those interested I will be taking over the hosting duties. I have decided to try a few changes. This will be a "not" so open mic comedy show. I want a host (for the next couple of weeks I'll be doing it) to do 7 to ten minutes...then the next two people will do 7 minutes...then the next two people will do ten minutes...the final two will do 12-15 minutes. The time slots will remain the same regardless of who is performing. If you need to get up eary because of work or something then you're doing 7 minutes. I want to build this and put a little order as to draw more people.
And there is some flexibilty...I will have one exception spot for 7 minutes for people who can't get there early etc...but come see me Wednesday night. I will give out my #... Then we can book this thing earlier. I just want to help everyone advance to the next level but we can't do that through chaos.
P.S. after the last 15 minute set I will still let anyone (new or old veterans) who wants to go up get time...but it'll be in 5 to 7 minute increments. I still want to give everyone time...but I want regular people to show up and watch, not just comics.
